My Eclipse trumpet is a joy to play, and 'team Eclipse' have been great to me over the years. I've found a particular resonance to my sound and ease of response with this (medium yellow) horn. Its superbly crafted design helps me to break down the barrier between my musical voice and the instrument. In other words, I can trust it enough to forget about the instrument and concentrate on making music, knowing it is always going to deal with whatever I can throw at it, and playing improvised music, that could be anything!. This is surely the highest goal of any trumpet design.
